Frequently Asked Questions

My name is Claire, I’m a Christian and I desire to share what God has taught me with others. I originally come from Belgium but now live in London, UK. My mother tongue is French but I am also fluent in English.

My goal for this blog is to share the things that God has taught me over the years to edify believers, help anyone who does not believe in Jesus, to feel loved, accepted, protected and find answers to questions they may have about God and His love, suffering in the world, and where God is amidst the turmoil of life here on earth. Check out the About section of my blog for more answers to your question.

I am a Christian/Follower of Jesus Christ/Yeshua Messiah.

I believe that the bible is the word of God and helps us become more like Him the more we let the Holy Spirit change our thinking and so ultimately our behaviou/actions.

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” Hebrews 4:12

I believe in the Triune God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I believe God’s nature is pure love (Agape love).

“God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” 1 John 4:16

I believe Jesus came and was born as a human being and lived among us over 2000 years ago. He was fully God the Son but also fully human (He experienced the same temptations and frailty as we do) and He taught us the way we can live to love God and others through the power of the Holy Spirit. He also crucially came to take our sins and infirmities upon himself when he was crucified on the cross so we can have a relationship with Him. We are saved from the just punishment we deserved for our sins because Jesus lived a sinless life, shed His blood, died on the cross and rose to life again after 3 days. In so doing He made the way for us to become a new creation/born again (dying to our old self and receiving the Holy Spirit) in Him. God the Father no longer sees us as tarnished by sin. Instead, if we receive Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, by repenting and turning away from our sins and believing what He did on the cross for us and that He rose again, we are made a new creation/born again (We receive the Holy Spirit).

“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Who, being in very nature God,
    did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
    being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
    he humbled himself
    by becoming obedient to death—
        even death on a cross!”

“The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.” Colossians 1:15-20

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:1-4
